This beautifully designed small round teak root stool is full of rustic charm, fabulous in both a contemporary or traditional setting. Lovingly handmade in Indonesia from only the biggest teak roots, these really are eye-catching pieces, with the natural shape and character of each one creating a unique and sculptural look.
Crafted from a single piece of solid teak root, these stools are very heavy, substantial items. The stools have a wax finish which enhances the natural colour of the wood.
All of our teak root furniture is sustainably sourced from Indonesia. Made from trees that were felled many years ago (in some cases 100’s of years ago) these underground roots were once discarded, or burnt to clear the land. Now the farmers can replenish their teak plantations by creating these amazingly unique pieces for your home.
